How to Copy Link on Instagram

Open your web browser and navigate to www.instagram.com. Log in to your Instagram account if you haven't already.

Find the post you want to copy the link for. Look for the three dots (More options) menu icon in the top right corner of the post and click on it.

From the dropdown menu that appears, click on the "Copy link" button. This will copy the direct link to the post to your clipboard, which you can then paste anywhere you want.

To copy a story link, first navigate to the profile page that has the story you want to copy. You can do this by clicking on the username or profile link from any post or search.

On the profile page, locate the stories section at the top. Right-click on the story you want to copy the link for. From the context menu that appears, click "Copy Link" to copy the story link to your clipboard.

You can also right-click directly on any post in your feed or on a profile page. From the context menu that appears, select "Copy link address" to get the direct link to the post. This method works on both individual posts and posts in your feed.

Navigate to a specific post by clicking on it to open it in full view. This gives you access to all the profile links and mentions in the post.

When viewing a post, hover over any clickable profile link such as usernames, profile mentions, or tagged accounts. Then right-click on the link and select "Copy link address" from the context menu to copy the profile URL.

You can copy the current open profile, post, or story URL directly from your browser's address bar. Simply click in the address bar to select the URL, then right-click and choose "Copy" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on Mac). This method works for any Instagram page you're viewing.

You can also use handy Chrome extensions like Link Grabber to quickly find and copy links from Instagram pages. First, install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Then, when you're on an Instagram page, click the extension icon to extract all links from the current page. This is especially useful when you need to copy multiple links at once.
